itinerary
1. day: Muscat - Nizwa / ca. 350 km
In the morning pickup at your hotel, drive to Seeb and to the oasis Nakhl. Afterwards you experience an exciting trip through the Wadi Bani Auf. Walk through the oasis village Bilad Sayt. On normal road you drive to Al Hamra. At late afternoon you reach Nizwa. Overnight stay at Golden Tulip Nizwa Hotel (B)
2. day: Nizwa - Jebel Akhdar / ca. 250 km
Inspect the Round Tower Fort and the market of Nizwa and drive afterwards to the fort of Jabrin. Continue to the nice Wadi Nakher. Beyond Birkat Al Mauz you drive on a spectacular way up to Jebel Akhdar. Overnight stay at Jebel Akhdar Hotel (B)
3. day: Jebel Akhdar - Wahiba Sands / ca. 450 km
Stroll today at first across the market in Sinaw, a traditional and old market, well-known for dealing with goats and silver. Continue to Mudhaybi and from there off-road to Al Qabil. Enter now into the lovely Wadi Bani Khalid, probably Omans most impressive Wadi. You also have the oppotunity to swim in the nature pools. After this you crest the high dunes of Wahiba Sands and visit o the way a Bedouin family. Overnight stay at 1000 Night Camp (B, D)
4. day: Wahiba Sands - Muscat / ca. 400 km
You visit the market of Ibra before you take one of the most adventurous four by four roads of Oman, which brings you across Majlis Al Jinn at Salmah Plateau to the Fins beach. From here you turn back to Muscat over Quriyat and Bimah Sinkhole
